With cameras following every move, Ron's contestant lost the most weight and inches. Ron has also been featured in, and consulted by, top national magazines such as US Weekly, In Touch and Glamour. He has appeared in numerous publications, apparel catalogs, equipment advertisements and articles both here in the United States and throughout Europe, and has graced the covers of Physical, Men's Health, Men's Health Germany, Men's Health en Español, and Men's Health Australia. His physique has also been used by Warner Brothers to create the prototype for the Daredevil suit worn by Ben Affleck, and the mold for the new Superman costume.
As a highly accomplished trainer, athlete, actor and fitness model, Ron knows what it takes to be at the top of your game both on-screen and on the field. His unique approach to fitness and years of hands-on experience has made him a top motivator, advisor and educator in the field of human performance. Ron is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), a prestigious and difficult to obtain certification whose small membership currently trains the most elite professional and Olympic athletes for competition. Ron also holds certifications from ISSA and ACE, as well as a Bachelor's degree from the University of Utah and has spent time as a Division 1 athlete (football, track), winning numerous awards. In addition, he trained as an instructor at some of New York's most elite fitness facilities, including Equinox and the Madison Square Club, and directed the fitness division at Profile Fitness for Women.
The secret to countless transformations, stellar physiques, shapely bodies, Big Screen biceps, and Star-worthy six packs? It's a cutting edge technique Ron pioneered called Anaerobic Cardiovascular Training (ACT) that synergistically incorporates unique forms of fitness training to produce maximum gains in minimal time. ACT is a phenomenon characterized by high intensity circuit routines and high intensity results. ACT integrates the attributes from over half a dozen tried, tested and true fitness modalities - from resistance conditioning, periodization and plyometrics to exercise physiology, functional modality training and Multi-Variable Training. The goal? Challenging your body and your mind, so the former never plateaus and the latter never suffers from gym burnout. These short, intense workouts carved Hugh Jackman's physique into super-hero shape, sculpted Jennifer Garner's svelte figure for Electra and Alias, chiseled Stephen Dorff's physique for Britney Spears' video Everytime, transformed Charisma Carpenters body after giving birth for a sexy layout in Playboy just nine months later, and got Eva Mendez into cover model condition for the July edition of GQ Magazine.
Ron isn't just a personal trainer, fitness expert, and physique transformation coach. He teaches his clients the most effective and efficient methods of training their specific body type to promote optimal change in body symmetry and body fat loss, while providing nutritional guidance to facilitate this process. To complement their training program, Ron constantly monitors and manipulates their diets to create the perfect balance between blood sugar and insulin level consistency, calorie limiting, nutrient ratios, energy level maintenance, and "real life eating". His training techniques combine health and fitness knowledge, motivational psychology, highly diversified athletic talent, developing kinesthetic sense and the mind/body connection.
